I CIOFF Niger
Cioff niger is corresponding member. Its president is Dante alhassane.
Former director of national ballet and co-director of cultural nigerian french center, dante alhassane dedicate his life to the promotion and developement of nigerian culture.
Mainly, CIOFF's niger activities concern the programmation of folk bands in festivals, in foreign countries.
II Niger and UNESCO
Niger joined the UNESCO Convention on World Heritage (1972), the Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003) and the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2005)
In this sense, Niger has just presented a statement of cultural policy that seeks to preserve the national culture in its diversity in harmony with current developments
