I CIOFF Burkina
The CIOFF started to officially cooperate with Burkina Faso in 1999 at the time of the meeting of Bingerville (February 1999, Ivory Coast). The section CIOFF Burkina Faso, which intervenes as a corresponding member, is chaired by Mr. Koudbi Koala. He created the Atypical Nights of Koudougou: the N.A.K. which aims at being "a link to bring together peoples, to enhance comprehension and love”.
The NAK are the 1st private festival decentralized in Burkina Faso. These Nights are characterized by their international and multi-disciplinary aspect, since in more of the music, the song and the dance, there is also the atypical Village: a place of exhibition-sale made up of several hundreds of stands reserved to the craftsmen, to producers, associations from the North and the South, wishing to make known their activities.
They were created in 1996 and they will celebrate their 13e édition in november 2008 with the theme “ culture and fight against poverty”.
